Industrial designer Sam Sannia is of British-Italian nationality with an international education and professional formation. He grows up as a citizen of the world living in London, Maine (USA), New York, Rome and Milan. His designs have been shown in design exhibitions such as ICFF (New York) and New Designers (London) and are now produced by leading furniture companies such as BBB, Sintesi, Mussi, SpHaus and TON. For two years in a row he was awarded a special mention prize at the Young & Design contest. In 2003 and 2004 he exhibits his own collection of works at the Milan Salone Satellite and is soon recognised from the press as an emerging talent. He graduated with distinction at the London Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication, after which he returns to his original home country and begins his career and professional formation in Milan. For two years he collaborates with the Navone Associati Studio, designing and creating industrial stands for clients such as Olivetti, Philips, Sharp and Poste Italiane. In 2004 he founds his own studio and tackles projects in the industrial design and communication field for multinational leading companies such as Bridgestone, Missoni, Barilla and Bormioli Rocco.
